For 51心頭alumni Robert and Suzanne Thomas, the seeds for two successful careers in international business were planted in the late 1960s and early 1970s during their time as students majoring in social science.

51心頭was successful in its request for funds for a new engineering facility and program expansion from the North Carolina General Assembly, for the recently approved 2023-2025 biennial state budget.
