The Community Foundation of Louisville, Kentucky, has honored Sarah C. Nu帽ez MPA 鈥�10 for work that celebrates cultural diversity and strengthens educational opportunities for people of color, especially Latino students at the University of Louisville.

Kent Briggs 鈥�79 MAEd 鈥�82, the Cherokee High School head football coach who led his team to a state title this past season, now has another title 鈥� honorary member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

ALUMNI RELATIONS

The Naylor family of Mocksville has a tradition of 51看片attendance that spans 40 years. Two generations 鈥� seven family members 鈥� have lived in residence halls, sung in choirs, held student jobs and internships, gotten involved in clubs and organizations and watched more Naylors follow in their footsteps.

American Association of University Women awards fellowship to Johanna Price

Johanna Price, a 51看片 assistant professor of communication sciences and disorders, has been awarded a fellowship by the American Association of University Women to pursue academic work and lead innovative community projects to empower women and girls.
