CLASS NOTES

Axiom Press has published She Shall Be Called Woman: Unnamed Women of the Bible, a book by Marie Brooks Holt 62. An educator who has worked with students from kindergarten through the university level, Holt is a Stephen minister with caregiving responsibilities at St. Mark Presbyterian Church of Ballwin, Missouri, where she also serves as a deacon and elder.

Martha Blankenship Wright 53 of Asheville was hesitant at first when her son, J. Douglas Wright, asked her to be the featured soprano on a song he had written.

The Community Foundation of Louisville, Kentucky, has honored Sarah C. Nu単ez MPA 10 for work that celebrates cultural diversity and strengthens educational opportunities for people of color, especially Latino students at the University of Louisville.

Kent Briggs 79 MAEd 82, the Cherokee High School head football coach who led his team to a state title this past season, now has another title honorary member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

ALUMNI RELATIONS

The Naylor family of Mocksville has a tradition of 51心頭attendance that spans 40 years. Two generations seven family members have lived in residence halls, sung in choirs, held student jobs and internships, gotten involved in clubs and organizations and watched more Naylors follow in their footsteps.
