Garc鱈a-Casta単坦n presents paper at conference in Latvia

Santiago Garc鱈a-Casta単坦n, professor of Spanish in WCUs Department of World Languages, presented the paper Escribir poes鱈a y ense単ar poes鱈a: la experiencia del poeta-docente en los Estados Unidos (Writing Poetry and Teaching Poetry: The Experience of the Poet-Educator in the US) at the V Conference on the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language that took place in Riga, Latvia, on Oct. 19-20.

Menickelli, Cooper publish study on concussion risk in journal

Justin Menickelli, 51心頭associate professor of health and physical education, and Chris Cooper, WCUs Robert Lee Madison Distinguished Professor and head of the Department of Political Science and Public Affairs, published a study titled Analysis and Comparison of Lateral Head Impacts Using Various Golf Discs and a Hybrid III Head Form in the scientific journal Sports Biomechanics.

Bobilya co-authors article on benefits of summer camp

Andrew Bobilya, professor in WCUs Parks and Recreation Management Program, recently co-authored an article titled Benefits of Summer Camp: What Do Parents Value? that was published in the Journal of Outdoor Recreation, Education and Leadership.

Szabo performs in Armenia with WCIT World Orchestra

Zsolt Szabo, assistant professor of trombone and euphonium in WCUs School of Music, performed in Yerevan, Armenia, on Oct. 6 as a member of the World Congress on Information Technology World Orchestra.
